The AE-1 with its automatic flash was introduced in 1976, which marks another great evolution in the Canon cameras.
The first proprietary digital SLR camera was made available to the pubic in the year 2000 with the Canon EOS D30. Before this period, Canon has been working synchronously with Kodak to produce digital SLR cameras. With the EOS, now Canon has its own full-fledged SLR digital camera. The Canon EOS marked a new level of progress that Canon has achieved that revolutionizes the way digital photos are taken with a significantly marked improvement in the ease of capturing those shots, the quality of the shots and the compact side of the camera itself. This new model soon brings about new and more advanced Canon SLR digital camera that has been received well by the general public.
